Face-to-face ID verification for DBS checks

New guidelines on face-to-face ID document verifications for DBS checks which applies to any match officials who need to renew theirs ahead of the 2020-21 season.

New guidelines on face-to-face ID document verifications for DBS checks have been produced in line with the Government guidance issued on 1 June 2020, which sees the easing of lockdown restrictions on gatherings, public spaces, and outdoor activities and the phased return of outdoor sport and recreation.

This means that face-to-face ID document verification can now take place as long as the verifier and those requiring their ID to be verified observe all Government guidelines.
